My Master's of Science project led me to the world of bioinformatics, big data and statistical analysis (you can read more about my project here and my publications here).

 

After working for a year, I decided to enhance my data analytics skills by pursuing a post-graduate certificate in Data Analytics, Big Data, and Predictive Analytics at Ryerson University. 

 

I've continued working with R, Python, SQL, Hadoop, Hive and Apache Spark programming techniques with various open-sourced datasets, keeping up with the latest and greatest trends in data analysis. Check out some of those projects here.
